Fashion Nova are selling these weird AF 'cage trousers' and everyone hates them

Just… why?
Fashion Nova have released some seriously bizarre items in their time, but caged trousers? We don't even think they would be fit for purpose. But then again, when have Fashion Nova outfits been practical? The brand did make the World Record Egg a model, so anything is possible, we suppose.
Now the US clothing company have released these high-waisted trousers that can only be described as leg prisons – half nudity, half Bird Box. Basically, they're just a normal pair of trousers with loads of holes cut out of them, revealing a lot of leg.
The model has styled them with a black, thong bodysuit underneath to protect her modesty and matching boots. Are they practical? Probably not, but that's fashion for you. The faux leather "Can't Contain This Caged Pants" feature an elasticated waistband, wide leg and retail for the bargain price of $49.99. But if you're actually thinking of buying these you should probably just ditch the trousers altogether and save yourself the cash.

As crazy as it looks I actually think these will sell. I'll stick to bottoms that keep my legs a bit more covered but I can imagine young women going out in these.

Of course, this isn't the first wild thing Fashion Nova have done. The brand were recently accused of Photoshopping a model's crotch. Meanwhile, they also announced they would be bringing out a range of scrubs for nurses.
