"I sadly cannot support/purchase any product with such sexist labelling."
It's 2019 and we're all about sex positivity here, so when Charlotte Tilbury launched her latest eyeshadow, the name was deemed a pretty controversial choice. The British beauty brand is receiving backlash for "slut-shaming" by naming their new eyeshadow and lipstick range Walk of Shame.

In case you don't know, the walk of shame is the walk from another person's abode to your house wearing the clothes from the night before, usually after a sexual encounter. The phrase is typically directed at women in a derogatory way to make them feel guilty about having casual sex, while men are celebrated for their sexual conquests.
The palette features pink, champagne and berry tones and people were gushing over the wearable shades when the new four-pan palette was posted on Instagram. However, the name started a debate in the comment section.
Imagine calling a line of make up WALK OF SHAME?! Is it any wonder women are mad as fucking hell about things??? @CTilburyMakeup what were you thinking? pic.twitter.com/IQFehfwTwO

Disappointed in @CTilburyMakeup new collection ‘Walk of Shame’ which names comes from a derogatory phrase which exists to publicity humiliate someone for their sexual interactions and to brand them as ‘sluts’, predominately women 👎🏻 pic.twitter.com/J8QBduApLc

I love Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics, but I sadly cannot support/purchase any product with such sexist labeling as "walk of shame."

No, the idea of a 'walk of shame' was invented by women in order to slut shame other women.

"The name of this palette bugs me," one user said. Another commented: "Pillow Talk and Glowgasm, OK. But why Walk Of Shame?" a third added: "The name of this gorgeous palette is a real oversight," while a fourth continued: "Walk of shame? That's supposed to be a good name for a palette?"
Charlotte hasn't commented on the name of her palette but Walk Of Shame is actually nothing new. Charlotte Tilbury's Walk Of Shame lipstick and matching lip liner have been available for around five years.
