BIG YIKES.

ASOS are being called out on Twitter after someone spotted that a model's dress was being held together with bulldog clips.

Now, the fashion brand were already on thin ice with shoppers after changing the ASOS returns policy and deactivating customer accounts without warning, claiming they have had a suspicious amount of returns. Whew, and now they have not helped their case.

The model – who is wearing a UK8 – was rocking the "ASOS DESIGN midi dress with cami straps and cut out detail", which retails for £35.

From the front, it fit her body like a glove – and now we know why. From the side you could see it was being held together by clips to make it appear more nipped in at the waist.

A Twitter user named Ronnie stumbled upon the error and shared the photo to Twitter – and it went viral. "uhmm @ASOS ..think you forgot to edit those clips out," she tweeted.

Understandably, people were pissed. Why use clips when there are models who are a UK8, or the model could have been given a dress that actually fit?!?!?

ASOS replied to the tweet and apologised for the mistake.

"Hi Ronnie, thank you for raising this with us," they tweeted. "We're sorry to hear the clips are showing in the picture. We'll now raise this with our specialist team. If you have any questions please send us a message we'd be happy to help."

However, instead of taking the hundreds of comments on board, ASOS quickly edited the clips out of the photo.
