Zoe Laverne admits she did kiss and "catch feelings" for 13-year-old fan
"I'm trying to find help before it's too late."
Zoe Laverne has reportedly checked herself into hospital following the backlash surrounding her inappropriate relationship with 13-year-old Connor Joyce.
The TikTok star, 19, admitted to having "caught feelings" for her underage fan after they became close friends. Footage of the two kissing emerged on the internet and Zoe confirmed that she had indeed kissed Connor.
Zoe was met with backlash considering the fact that Connor is a minor. Many also called for her to be arrested and jailed. She was later forced to delete her Instagram account, however, she recently returned to tell her side of the story.

In an Instagram Live, she said: "I wouldn't do anything to him ever without consent. Connor and I both consented to kissing. That's how it went and we both liked each other and then we realised that the ages were too different. Nothing happened between us apart from kissing."
She added: "We both just ended up catching feelings for each other and friends do that, friends catch feelings for each other – that's not a bad thing. Yes the age is a bad thing, yes it's wrong, yes it's not good and we both realised that and we stopped."
She later requested that people stop sending her hate because she had owned up to her role in the situation. She said: "Y'all wanted an apology from me and then when I do you're upset? […] Y'all are just mad the the situation wasn't as worse and people made it out to be. This isn't anyone's business but mine, my family's, Connor's and his family's. Let it go."

Zoe has now reportedly checked herself into hospital, according to her fandom account. On Monday (Nov 2), an Instagram post was made from the account, which Zoe is known to post on instead of her main Instagram handle.
The caption read: "I'm checking myself into hospital for a while. I don't know when I'll be out etc. I'm trying to find help before it's too late. I love you. Goodbye for now."
Zoe hasn't said anything further on the matter on her main Instagram account, Twitter or TikTok, but she has turned off comments on all platforms.
