The Try Guys have opened up about firing Ned Fulmer and said that they would have done it even if his scandal was private.
Last week (Sep 27), The Try Guys announced that Ned Fulmer would be leaving the group after news came to light that he'd had an affair with a colleague. Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld and Eugene Lee Yang stated: "As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together. We thank you for your support as we navigate this change."
Now, Keith Habersberger and Zach Kornfeld have released a podcast episode in which they discuss Ned's firing in depth.

In a new episode of TryPods, named 'let's talk about it', producer Miles Bonsignore asks Keith and Zach: "If this hadn’t gone public, is there a world where Ned would have come back and was a cast member?" Keith and Zach immediately say "no" in response and add that Ned will never "come back" and work with the group again.
Keith then explains: "Look, what happened, it betrayed our trust, it was a workplace violation. It would mean to all the people in the office who knew what they knew […] that we weren’t being true to who we said we are in our values."
He continues: "Very simply, he would have been removed. It would not have been this public spectacle, we would have tried to avoid that for the sake of the other people involved but it happened how it happened."
Keith and Zach also compared the experience to a breakup and said that it's given them anxiety. Keith said that he's been listening to Olivia Rodrigo to help him process his emotions. Meanwhile, Zach said: "The stress poops have been out of control."

Finally, Zach and Keith addressed rumours that they will replace Ned with a new Try Guy. The simple answer is no but Zach then explained: "We will have new people that come in and out…I don’t want to put the pressure on anyone to say, ‘This is the new Try Guy and he is the replacement.’ That’s not fair to them".
Elsewhere in the podcast, Zach explains that the reason why Eugene isn't on the podcast is simply because: "Eugene does not like doing podcasts."
