Wondering how much those huge TikTokers are earning for their sponsored posts? Here's an idea...

With TikTok rapidly becoming one of the biggest and most popular social media platforms, you're probably not the only one who has been wondering just how much users are getting paid for sponsored content.

Thankfully, Hype House member Addison Rae has given us a bit of an insight into the world of TikTok Spon Con. Speaking with friend David Dobrik on his ‘VIEWS’ podcast, Addison revealed just how much TikTokers could potentially earn based on their millions and millions of views.

Addison is currently the second most followed user on TikTok, behind former Hype House member Charli D’Amelio. With over 45 million followers and 2.5 billion likes to her name, you can probably expect a pretty big pay check when it comes to sponsored content.

On the podcast, David asks, “What is the most amount somebody on the app has gotten paid for on TikTok?”

While she doesn't reveal her own earnings, Addison then replies, “That I’m aware of? … $90,000. That’s from what I know is like what someone’s been offered.”

$90,000 is a wild amount of amount of money but David notes that that's not always just for one TikTok. That price will likely be for a series of videos.

"The thing I hate about TikTok prices, is that these TikTokers get paid per post. So like everyone will do math and they’ll be like, Addison Rae gets paid $45,000 per post…," David explained: "Oh my god she's posted 30 times this which means she's made $18 million this week alone...

"No, it's only when it’s branded is when you make money."

Discussing what other social platforms can charge per sponsored post, Madison Beer revealed that she knows of people who have been paid upwards of $1 million for five frames on an Instagram Story, complete with swipe ups. These kind of sponsored posts get up to around 40 million views or "opens".

Madison then flipped the question on to David, asking what's the most a YouTuber has been paid for a piece of sponsored content. David stresses that the big YouTubers aren't even on the same level as the sponsored posts on Instagram, but it’s still a pretty significant pay cheque. "It's like $500,000 for an integration on YouTube, for like a 20-30 second plug, I would say," he revealed.

David previously spoke about his YouTube earnings revealing how much they dropped following the 'adpocalypse'. According to David, his videos used to bring in around $275,000 per month in ad revenue but then dropped to around $2000. (This doesn't account for sponsored content though... that's an entirely different income.)

BRB, just off to start a TikTok account.
