'Tidying Up with Marie Kondo' is inspiring everyone to get their sh*t together

'Tidying Up with Marie Kondo' has Twitter in cleaning mode as they take her advice and figure out what sparks joy.
World renowned tidying expert Marie Kondo has a new show on Netflix called Tidying Up with Marie Kondo and people are loving it. In Tidying Up, Marie visits people's homes to teach them new ways of thinking about their possessions and cleaning up their spaces.
The new Netflix show premiered at the perfect time because people are, of course, making New Year's resolutions and whipping their homes into shape. As it turns out, Marie's new show has sparked both joy and inspiration for people who have taken her advice and started on their own tidying up journey.
People think Marie Kondo had a 'thank u, next' approach to tidying up.

One of Marie Kondo's lessons on the show involves assessing the clothing you own and deciding whether each piece "sparks joy". If it doesn't, you can feel free to say "thank you" to the item of clothing let it go. This is, in fact, big 'thank u, next' energy.
The fact that Marie is a Virgo somehow makes the MOST sense.
my friend: *just turned on a netflix show about a japanese woman who removes clutter, reorganizes and maximizes the space in people’s homes for a living*

Marie and the storage of miscellaneous items has us wanting to drop some serious coin on boxes.
I hope to one day love someone as much as Japanese organization expert Marie Kondo loves boxes. pic.twitter.com/sFeeCmql8N
