Another day, another meme...
2018 was a pretty iconic year for memes. Over the course of just twelve months, the internet came up with some of the best memes of all time. From the terrifying (the FBI agent watching you through your webcam meme is amazing but also WTF) to the hilarious (is this a pigeon is a timeless classic) and the downright bizarre (they did surgery on a grape was a thing), 2018 really delivered on the meme front.
However it looks as though 2019 will be equally iconic. We may only be mere days into the new year but, as it stands, we've already been blessed with the guy in pink thigh high boots and the Bird Box memes are still everywhere. The latest meme to come on our radar actually first surfaced at the end of 2018 but is still making big waves now: the straight line, dashed line meme is here and it's going to roast you.
The meme itself is simple. You write "Straight line: ________________", "Dashed line: ___ ___ ___ ___ ___" and then end it with a hilarious line of your own. From iconic lines from films and TV to painfully accurate diagrams of people who use Instagram stories a little bit too much, it's versatile af and one of the funniest things on the internet atm.
