"Steve from Blues Clues posting this after the Nickelodeon documentary, he knew exactly what we needed."
Steve from Blue's Clues has just posted another TikTok video that has reduced thousands of Millennials and Gen Z fans to tears.
Back in 2021, the belov has just posted a the Nick Jr. show from 1996 to 2002, returned to the internet after he abruptly left the series. Since posting his "emotionally devastating" comeback video, Steve has started a TikTok account where he checks in with his followers from time to time.
Back in March, shortly after the release of the Quiet On Set docu-series that exposed the concerning and inappropriate behaviour that several young actors, such as Drake Bell, endured during their time at the network, Steve posted an emotional video that immediately went viral.
People compared the clip to Elmo's recent viral tweet that was met with thousands of people offloading their thoughts, life updates, and everything in between.
Now, he's done it again, over 28 million people have watched it and over 170,000 people have opened up about their lives in the comment section. Watch Steve's video below.
In the new TikTok video, which is just one minute long, Steve says a simple nine words. He first asks, "How are you? What's new?", before remaining silent for the rest of the clip as music plays in the background.
He nods along, maintaining eye contact with the camera before ending with: "Well, I just wanted to check in. You look great."
The video has also encouraged a beautifully supportive comment section. In response, one person wrote: "I don’t know what makes me cry more, this grown man coming to check on the adult children he helped raise, or the comments from these children."
Another added: "Why do you always show up right on time Steve"
Others have also been leaving comments about what's happening in their lives, opening up about their high, lows, relationships, jobs, sobriety, mental health, illnesses, pregnancies and so much more.
In response to the comments, someone wrote: "Ok guys, this comment section WRECKED me. I'm not Steve, but I am proud of ALL OF YOU. you deserve everything you want."
Steve from Blues Clues posts an emotional video
Back in March, Steve went viral for the exact same video, but the timing of it felt even more emotional as it was posted after the Nickelodeon documentary and allegations that came to light.
The docuseries Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV alleges several counts of inappropriate behaviour, dynamics and abuse on various Nickelodeon shows. Fans of shows like Zoey 101, Drake & Josh, Victorious and Sam & Cat have all been horrified over the allegations that have emerged, and are devastated about what many of their childhood faves went through as kids.
One post with 26 million views ended up doing the rounds on X/Twitter with the caption: "Steve from Blues Clues posting this after the Nickelodeon documentary, he knew exactly what we needed."

Adults who go into acting on children shows or with children should look at Steve as a perfect example on how to present yourself.
