Snapchat has come a long way since it launched back in 2011. Once simply for sending funny and often incriminating photos that disappear in a matter of seconds to your closest mates, now hosts videos, messaging and allows you to follow the lives of your favourite celebrities. But there's still a lot we don't know about the mysterious app. Well, that's where we come in. We've collated some of your most-asked Snapchat questions and we're going to answer them for you. 2. How to back up your camera roll on Snapchat?

To save Snapchat stories, find the setting in the app, tap the ghost icon at the top of the camera screen, then the gear icon and then tap "Memories". Tick the box marked "Auto-save Stories" and click "Save to…" Now that should mean everything you put on your Snapchat Story will automatically save on your phone's gallery too. If you're sending a Snap to one of your contacts, and not to your Story, you need to remember to tap the save icon (the down arrow) after. [Snapchat]

3. What does SN mean in Snapchat?

4. How does your Snapchat score work?

According to Snapchat's website, your Snapchat score is the total of all snaps sent and received. Every time you send or receive a Snap your score is increased by one point. However, having a conversation in Snapchat does not increase your Snapchat score. [Snapchat]

6. What are Snapchat trophies?

You collect Snapchat trophies for performing little challenges and raising your Snapchat score. For example, after verifying your email address, you will receive the email trophy. The trophies look just like standard emojis and some have multiple levels. You can check which trophies you have earned so far in the app. Just tap on your profile, then go to "Trophies" and you'll see your Trophy Case. Snapchat Charms are special surprises that are added based on your relationships with your friends and how you interact with each other. To view your Friend Charms, open a Friend Profile and scroll to the bottom. You can tap each Charm to learn more about it. To delete your Snapchat account you need to go on the desktop version of the site. You'll then need to head to the Snapchat accounts portal and enter your username, or email address, and password linked to your account.
