Ella Mai and Pete Davidson have both catapulted into new levels of fame this year. Ella has gone from being a promising UK R&B singer to one of the genre's most successful artists right now. This year alone she's bagged two major hits in the US ('Boo'd Up' went Top 5 and 'Trip' is Top 20 and rising) and around the world. Meanwhile, Pete has seen his celebrity rise thanks to his high profile relationship with Ariana Grande.

Nevertheless, the singer and the comedian aren't two names that you would usually associate with each other. Even though they are both young stars on the rise, they haven't publicly run in the same circles. As talented as Pete is, we don't imagine him releasing music any time soon and, even though, Ella is hilarious on social media, we're not sure she's going to leave music for comedy ever.

However, fans have now noticed a major connection between Ella and Pete.

Say what?!!! No. Don't worry. Nothing scandalous has happened but a couple of people have noticed that in spite of the fact that Pete and Ella are completely different sexes and races, they share striking facial similarities. It may seem crazily unlikely, but if you compare the two of them side by side, they definitely share a resemblance that is impossible to unsee.
