Oompa Loompa memes are going viral and it’s all thanks to Willy Wonka

"Kid literally dies in chocolate factory" and the Oompa Loompas respond by dancing and singing. The internet has turned the Oompa Loompas wild reaction to injured children into an amusing meme.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory had some pretty savage characters. Willy Wonka, himself, was a brutal stickler for rules and some of the kids who went on his factory tour were unsavoury in their own ways. It was the particularly flippant behaviour of the Oompa Loompas that probably had you shook as a child.

Now, the Oompa Loompas singing have been turned into a meme and people are hilariously parodying the unusual reactions of the dancing factory workers (who should have probably performed first aid instead of singing and dancing about rules)

After a child would meet a gruesome or unpleasant end to the tour, the Oompa Loompas would do a dance routine while singing their anti-greed propaganda. It was actually quite callous, in retrospect.

People on the internet are sharing Oompa Loompa dancing memes and they're perfect.

In Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, kids fall into rivers, down trash chutes, and even turn giant and purple. Health and safety violations as far as the eye can see.

Of course, each time that happened, the Oompa Loompas were there with strong choreography and a musical number.

Well, the Oompa Loompas' methods were unorthodox, but you can't say that their moves weren't iconic.
