This picture of a woman's milk ducts is going viral and everyone's freaking out

Um, why have we never seen this before!?
We thought that we'd seen everything there is to see when it comes to the human body, but have you actually seen what a woman's milk ducts look like? No? Well, neither have the majority of people on the internet, apparently.
A picture of a woman's muscle structure has gone viral and no-one can quite believe what's hiding beneath a woman's chest.
The diagram was shared on Twitter and the photo shows the milk duct structures below the surface of the skin, which kind of looks like a flower.
I just realized I never saw a photo of a female muscle system. This is NOT what I imagined milk ducts to look like. pic.twitter.com/GBK6trgXF8

Sure, we all know why they're there, but not what they look like. The glands produce breast milk and are divided into segments. The narrow tubes carry milk to the nipple, kind of like tiny straws.
People had never imagined that this is what is hiding beneath the skins surface. We're so used to seeing the male muscle anatomy in biology books that a woman's body was baffling.
It's actually kind of cool...
This is what I mean when I say women are of the Earth. Literal flowers in our titties. Divinity. https://t.co/1xkNqe6tx3

It sort of looks like...flesh flowers? Terrifying but also kind of beautiful?

why is everyone saying itâs gross, we have literal flowers on our titties thatâs so cool

Maybe itâs only freaking people out because itâs not normalized because of the patriarchy showing us a manâs biology in class.

Itâs beautiful to me- I breastfed my kids and wow! Those things nourished my babies.

It shows how often male anatomy is shown vs lack of full representation of women

However, the image unexpectedly triggered some people, who called it "disgusting".

No I really didn't need to see this, hmmm the trauma!
