The Captain Hook Challenge is about to be the next big thing – and here's how to do it.

On Tuesday (Mar 10), Megan – real name Megan Pete – dropped the iconic 'Captain Hook' video, which she directed herself. But, in a bid to get fans riled up just before its release, she shared a choreographed routine to 'Captain Hook' following the success of other challenges like the Say So Challenge and Renegade Challenge. Here's how you can copy Megan's moves.
So, here's how you do the Captain Hook Challenge, as performed by Megan Thee Stallion herself on Monday night (Mar 9).
Basically, start by crossing your arms and wiggling your hips in a circular motion. Then comes the head tap followed by an exaggerated hair flip. Next, when Megan raps, "He's a sweetie, mmh, kiss it when he eat it, ayy, yeah," you'll need to tap your stomach a few times, before performing an eating motion. Finish by bopping up and down, kind of like you're heading down in an elevator. Simple, right?
Megan Thee Stallion was the first to perform the Captain Hook Challenge following her song of the same name. She shared the choreographed routine on Instagram, however, it was created using the Triller app – a rival to TikTok.
That hasn't stopped Megan's fans taking to TikTok to show off their moves, though, where people are putting their own spin on the challenge.
