TikTok star Ava Louise goes viral with Coronavirus challenge in which she licks a public toilet seat
WHY are people so obsessed with licking things during a pandemic?!
As the world continues to take extreme measures to help flatten the curve, fight the coronavirus and save lives, there are still some people who can't seem to follow basic rules or, worse than that, think it's all a joke.
Case in point: A video of a man filming himself licking products in a Walmart store after saying “Who’s scared of the coronavirus?” and then posting it online. The disgusting video, which appears to have been posted on Snapchat, soon went viral, with complaints coming in from all over the world.

According to WTIC-TV, the man was identified as 26-year-old Cody Pfiser from Warrenton, Missouri. He now has reportedly been charged with a low-level felony of "making a terrorist threat". He is also reportedly being held in jail without bond.

In a statement on Monday (March 23), the City of Warrenton Police Department thanked those who reported the video and said that they were taking the complains very seriously.
The statement read: "A local resident who took a video of themselves licking the merchandise after making a 'Corona Virus' statement at Walmart and posting it to social media has been taken into custody. Charges will be pending through the Warren County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
"This particular video, which won't be shared here, has gained some international attention and we have received numerous reports about the video from locals, nearby residents, as well as people from the Netherlands, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. We take these complaints very seriously and would like to thank all of those who reported the video so the issue could be addressed."

Unfortunately, this is not the first video that's gone viral of people thinking it's funny to lick surfaces during the pandemic.
Last week, TikToker Ava Louise was heavily criticised for attempting to start a coronavirus challenge, where she can be seen licking a toilet. In a statement about the viral clip, she said: "I need to give people a reason to laugh during these hard times. I’d rather people laugh than be crying in this intense climate. We need to up the morale."
In other news, another clout-chaser who licked a toilet for a video has now revealed that he has coronavirus.
