Makenna has been sharing examples of her videos being flagged and removed for 'violating community guidelines'. One recent example shows a notice she received about a video titled "ASMR Eating Dish Sponges and Dish Soap".
AGAIN, thanks @YouTube! This is getting REALLY OLD. To my fans: what platform would you like to see me on? TWITCH? PATREON? OTHER? In the meantime please enjoy other MINORS trying on lingerie for their boyfriends, wiping Nutella (aka feces) on friends, etc. RETWEET 4 A FOLLOW! pic.twitter.com/DbYKmKj6ji

It sucks that @Youtube discriminates against ME PERSONALLY (trust me, there’s a HUGE story). Fortunately, wholesome child content that combats pedophilia and sexualization of minors is readily available for you compliments of their platform. I’m so ashamed for eating honeycomb.🤣 pic.twitter.com/eiJJERE49g

One of Makenna's most popular videos, a viral video of her eating honeycomb, has been removed from the platform after garnering more than 13 million views. In an interview with Buzzfeed News, Makenna revealed that 12 of her videos had been taken down in the past three months.
Makenna even addressed YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki over the matter.
To @SusanWojcicki ONLY.

Thx for not having my back/speaking up for me. I’m sure you can imagine how that makes me feel as a young woman. ❤️
?: What person/show should I emulate to “make it” on @YouTube as a minor? TEEN MOM? BHAD BHABIE? DANIELLE COHN?
I need your expert advice.
In recent months, YouTube has made efforts to clamp down on pedophilia on the platform, including disabling comments on videos uploaded by minors and terminating the accounts of individuals associated with inappropriate activity.
Through her Twitter account, Makenna has argued that she has not violated YouTube's community guidelines, calling the deletion of her videos "discrimination".
Dear @YouTube: Your blatant discrimination will not stop me. I will not let you use me as a target for your platform’s shortcomings. I am not sorry for being a confident young woman who speaks her mind. You condoned a grown man to sexually bully me and it’s time to own up to it. pic.twitter.com/VvcsNihbfV

YouTube has not publicly commented on the situation but we will update if and when they do.
