Kylie Jenner's walnut face scrub has already proven controversial with skincare enthusiasts who are worried about the product after Kylie says she uses it "two or three times a week".
Kylie Jenner has announced an expansion of her hugely successful beauty empire. The 21 year-old reality star announced this week that she was adding skincare to her brand and did so with a video about her upcoming exfoliating walnut face scrub.
Kylie Cosmetics has expanded to include Kylie Skin, which launches on May 22. It will include products like moisturiser and serum, but it's the walnut scrub that is being heavily dragged on social media.

In the ultra sleek promo video, Kylie explains that her walnut scrub is "gentle enough to use every day" and that she uses it two or three times a week.
Kylie also says that the scrub is not abrasive like other walnut scrubs and that it leaves her skin looking "super baby soft".
In fact people are calling out the scrub and the 21-year-old billionaire for advising people to use an exfoliating walnut scrub every day. People are arguing that a walnut scrub could potentially be harsh on the skin, despite Kylie Skin explaining that the ingredients include a "fine walnut powder- to help gently exfoliate".

PSA: don’t buy Kylie jenner’s walnut skin scrub. Walnuts and other nuts are too abrasive to exfoliate your face and instead you end up with micro tears on your skin. Which leads to wrinkles and premature aging.

One of the largest beauty companies in the entire world and she puts out a damn st Ives walnut scrub??? That is KNOWN to damage the moisture barrier and create micro tears?? I’m tired pic.twitter.com/SVXc8df0Ua

Kylie Jenner is out here releasing a walnut face scrub and telling people you can use it everyday when walnut is one of the most abrasive things you can put on your skin and it causes micro tears in the skin, letting bacteria in, thus making you break out. Pls don’t buy that shit
