It's official. Kylie Jenner has been dethroned on Instagram by an egg.
Here Are The 10 Most Liked Instagram Photos Ever
Fans of Kylie will already know that the reality TV superstar previously lay claim to the most liked photo on Instagram ever. In 2018, she shared the first ever photo of her newborn daughter, Stormi Webster, on the platform and it racked up a whopping 18.2 million likes. However, now in an unprecedented turn of events, an egg has overtaken Kylie and Stormi to take the Instagram crown.
It all started when an Instagram account called @world_record_egg opened at the start of the year and shared a stock image of an egg with the ambitious and iconic caption: "Let's set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this". The internet did it's thing and now the egg has over 25 million likes.

Incredible. Even better Kylie hilariously got in on the joke. Not only did she and Kendall Jenner both like the egg post but the Instagram queen also took to Snapchat and Instagram to share a video of her with her BFF Jordyn Woods. And in it she can be seen cracking an egg with the caption "take that little egg". Comedic legend.
