Kim Kardashian has released new body makeup and the internet is divided over whether foundation for your arms and legs is a practical idea.
The Kardashian-Jenner beauty empire is showing no signs of slowing down. Kylie Jenner's skin care line had its skeptics when it was first announced and now the internet is divided over Kim Kardashian's new range of body makeup. Earlier this month, the reality star announced her KKW skin perfecting body foundation, intended to "blur imperfections, enhance skin tone and provide a flawless finish for any look".
This video is the Body Makeup. This is what I use most often. I don’t always like my legs to have shimmer on them. I use this when I want to enhance my skin tone or cover my psoriasis. I bruise easily and have veins and this has been my secret for over a decade #kkwbeauty pic.twitter.com/uEdscX33nu

Kim signposted the beauty drop on a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where she talked about using body makeup to hide psoriasis flare ups on her legs.
Actress and TV host Jameela Jamil sparked conversation when she gave the product a "hard pass", saying she'd rather "make peace with her million stretch marks and eczema".
Hard pass. God damn the work to take it all off before bed so it doesn’t destroy your sheets... I’d rather just make peace with my million stretch marks and eczema. Taking off my mascara is enough of a pain in the arse. Save money and time and give yourself a damn break. ❤️ https://t.co/gGrbiZfH2K

I never said wearing body make up makes you a bad feminist, or wrong in any way. I suggested that as men aren’t told to cover up, why should we have to spend the money and time doing so? Especially SUCH time consuming stuff. I just want to know *why* our perfection is expected... https://t.co/mU7UFtYnqW

I can not think of a worse feeling than my whole body being covered in foundation https://t.co/YRCa09tXRs

Why the fuck do you need to put foundation on your entire body???? Stop injecting more insecurities into women. Fuck off https://t.co/0wcOX53N3t

Hey guys our bodies don’t need foundation. Your scars, stretch marks, and blemishes are all normal. Why are we trained to hate ourselves so much we have to buy full-body makeup I’m so annoyed https://t.co/OuWMr6D5eN

Why are so many people bitching about Kim K’s body makeup like do u REALISE how many people it’s gonna help with skin conditions etc ??? If u have clear skin it’s not FOR u so shut the fuck up

I really don’t understand why people are hating on this idea. People who have birth marks, tattoos, scars, psoriasis or even translucent veins might want to cover it up with makeup. If someone feels they need to cover up a blemish to feel confident then let them, it’s their body. https://t.co/jxxgslnf9A

Many also pointed out that body makeup isn't a new thing and that brands like Sally Henson have had products with similar uses for a long time.
As it stands, it looks like enough people are willing to try out the product no matter how divided the internet seems to be. The $45 cover up is currently sold out on the KKW website in all shades.
