Jeffree Star says he and Shane Dawson "have nothing to hide" with James Charles drama footage

Jeffree believes showing the footage will address the drama from another "perspective".
The minute everyone knew Shane Dawson was filming a documentary series with Jeffree Star, they assumed it would cover all the dramatic fall out between James Charles and Tati Westbrook, dubbed Dramageddon.
Shane teased that he would be including the drama in the series after releasing the explosive trailer. We're currently on episode six and Shane's fans are thirsty for some piping hot YouTube tea. However, he's had a sudden change of heart. Shane did originally plan to include the drama footage, but decided to change the narrative to be more about the positivity surrounding the Conspiracy collection, instead of revolving an episode around Dramageddon.

The YouTuber has actually filmed and edited the footage already, even showing it to James himself, who said he was "scared" about it coming out again. Instead of sharing the video, Shane will show footage from the launch of his Conspiracy palette and the meet and greet.
Ultimately, Shane made the decision, but it looks like his collaborator Jeffree Star believes that maybe it should be shown. Although Jeffee said he had been in two minds about showing all the beef (which he was partly involved in, FYI) and negativity, he said he has "nothing to hide" and he believes Shane might be able to show a different side to all the drama.
On 10 November, Jeffree uploaded his first video in two months titled "What Shane Dawson DELETED From The Series.. Conspiracy Palette Tutorial." Jeffree filmed the video before rushing off to finish up the seventh episode of Shane's documentary and although he was short on time, he still found a few minutes to update his fans on what is going on behind the scenes.
Jeffree played with his new Conspiracy palette and explained why he's moving house with his boyfriend Nathan Schwandt. He also revealed what he really thought about the whole James Charles drama being deleted from the series.
"Me and Shane were kind of like: 'Is that stuff irrelevant?' I know it was in the trailer but it's been so long now," he began. "Half the people want to know and half the people are like, 'Shane, are you clickbaiting everyone? Um, are you just not going to talk about it anymore?'

"We are really on the fence. So I think it's time to just really address it all in this series and really just dive in and talk about it because if we don't people are going to say, 'Oh y'all tried to reel us in duh, duh, duh duh dah.' So I really think just let Shane follow his gut, you know, we have nothing to hide."
Jeffree supported Tati throughout the whole saga and backed up her claims – even adding some of his own. After James denied them, Jeffree apologised, but their friendship was over.

He continued: "Obviously Shane has been living in the beauty community for a year now and he has seen a lot honey, and I think it would be cool to get his perspective on a bunch of things."
