James Charles claps back at YouTuber who accused him of dissing Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson

"You're looking for drama where there is none."
James Charles just had to clear up accusations that he was ranting about Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson on Snapchat.
In case you're not up to speed with the latest YouTube tea, James Charles and Jeffree Star ended their friendship earlier this year during James' spectacular fall out with Tati Westbrook. In support of Tati, Jeffree branded him a "danger to society" and said his boyfriend Nathan had banned James from coming to their home – it got very ugly. Shane was also Team Tati on this one, but only by subtly plugging her vitamin brand on social media and praising their friendship.

After losing millions of subscribers, James fired back at the allegations and Jeffree apologised for taking it too far. But, their friendship has never recovered. FYI, Jeffree Star and Tati Westbrook are thought to no longer be friends either…
Anyway, that drama is always looming over James' head and with Shane Dawson's documentary set to cover the whole scandal, it's all about to be brought up again. So, when James tweeted about deleting a Snapchat rant, a commentary YouTuber named Kavos thought it could be about Shane and Jeffree.
First, James tweeted: "Just spent 30 mins in the Starbucks parking lot filming a Snapchat rant about something bothering me but instead of posting, I listened to myself rant and then clicked delete. Sometimes it's healthy to have a conversation with yourself before having it with others."

But now you have told everyone you had a rant about something you felt was important enough to share on snapchat which now leads to speculation of what the rant was about (Shane and Jeffrey maybe?) and defeats the point of “talking to yourself” because now everyone knows

He added: "Or maybe you just want to make yourself out to be a 'bigger' person but this is just passive aggressive as fuck and worse than an actual genuine rant."
James, clearly fuming, hit back at Kavos' claim. He said: "Or maybe you’re looking too far into it because it had to do with relationships and I decided it was a topic that’s no ones business but my own? Fuck off."

Kavos, not willing to back down, replied again: "Ermmm James what happened to listening to yourself rant and then clicking delete? I was speculating what it was about because that’s the door you open up yourself by posting this tweet in the first place."
Finally, James put an end to the conversation. He tweeted: "No, you’re looking for drama where there is none. Shocking!"

Ever since the whole Tati/James/Jeffree stuff went down in May, James has been trying to better himself and work on his mental health. But when you're a part of the YouTube beauty community it's just impossible to escape the mess.
