James Charles has addressed the drama between Tati Westbrook, Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star publicly for the first time.
Last week (Jun 30), Tati Westbrook uploaded a new video to YouTube in which she apologised to James Charles for how she treated him in 2019 and accused Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star of manipulating and coercing her into slamming James in her viral 'BYE SISTER' video. Now, James has spoken out about the video for the first time and revealed how he feels about the ongoing beauty drama.
Speaking to paparazzi yesterday (Jul 8), James teased a collaboration with Doja Cat and opened up about his dream to film with Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande. However, he also touched on the YouTube drama. When asked about it, he said: "I’m just staying out of it, minding my own business. I just moved into a beautiful new house. I have great friends around me."
Then when asked about Shane specifically, James added: "I don’t want to talk about anything relation to him.” As for if he should be forgiven, James said: "I think it should be looked at on a case by case basis and make sure that people are changing actively." He also confirmed that he hasn't spoken to Shane since the drama unfolded.
