Everyone from Panic! At The Disco to My Chemical Romance has been targeted in the "gonna tell my kids" meme.
"Gonna tell my kids" memes are breaking the internet right now and they're getting more and more wild and hilarious.
2019 is almost over and it's been another brilliant year for memes. Since January, the internet has come up with some of the funniest and oddest memes we have ever seen. In the past few months alone, we've been blessed with everything from the memes inspired by Kylie Jenner singing "rise and shine" to Stormi to the memes of Paul Rudd saying "look at us" on Hot Ones. Every week, people come up with something new and different to entertain us with online and we live for it.

Now, another brilliant meme is taking off on the world wide web and it's called the "gonna tell my kids" meme.
What is the "gonna tell my kids" meme and how does it work though? Essentially, it's all based around you telling your future children history as you see fit. In other words, you can make things up. For example, you could say: "gonna tell my kids this was the 45th president of the US" alongside a photograph of Hilary Clinton. It's all about you a) having a laugh or b) just manifesting something you wish was true into existence.
As it stands, people have brought everyone from Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello to Steve Jobs and Panic! At The Disco into the meme. No-one is safe but they all have one thing in common: they're hilarious. With that in mind, we've gathered all of the funniest ones together in one place for you to enjoy. It's time to relearn everything you thought you already knew about history from the perspective of the internet.
