Bella Poarch has clapped back at trolls that have criticised her for acting cute on TikTok.
The TikTok star is known for her viral lip-syncing videos, with her lip-sync to Millie B's 'M to the B' in August becoming the most-liked video on the platform. A lot of Bella's videos are a similar format, showing her making facial expressions and dancing to hit songs with her stuffed toys.
However, Bella has received a lot of backlash for her videos, with some calling her aesthetic "cringeworthy". Others have accused her of trying to act like a child to attract men.

There's a wider conversation about gamers and cosplayers who act as "pedo bait", deliberately trying to act underage yet sexy to attract a particular type of man. Instagram model Belle Delphine, who Bella is often compared to, has been called out for it in the past.
On Monday (Oct 12), Bella hit back at the hate she received on Twitter. She tweeted: "Why is it not allowed to act cute? It’s a natural thing to most Asians. But people seem to hate me for it. I'm Filipino and in the Philippines, we love Ulzzang and kawaii culture. I grew up with it so why can’t I just be myself?"

Kawaii is the culture of cuteness in Japan and it is "associated with a pop-culture aesthetic of such things as cuddly animals and pink hearts", Dictionary.com says.
Bella's tweet ignited debate about her whole aesthetic beneath her post.
