DC released the first trailer for The Batman starring Robert Pattinson during DC's FanDome stream on Saturday (Aug 22) and the internet quickly went into meltdown. The movie, the first in a trilogy directed by Matt Reeves, is scheduled for release in October 2021.

In the trailer, fans finally got a peek at Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Batman's nemesis, Penguin, and the infamous Batmobile. But, of course what everyone was talking about was R-Patz's Batman.

The Twilight actor looked noticeably different to the Batmans we've seen before, especially when out of the iconic Batsuit, rocking smokey dark eyeliner and floppy hair. Naturally, the internet was screaming.
