RULES
The following rules (“RULES”) together with Communicorp UK ("Communicorp UK ") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at [CAPITALFM.COM] apply to [RESULTS LIVE] ("the Competition") which will run from [on 6th AUGUST] (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is [CAPITAL SCOTLAND]
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available online and on request from the Radio Station website.
Details of the Competition: ON AIR
To enter the competition an entrant must listen to CAPITAL SCOTLAND between 6am and 10am on Tuesday 6th August, and call the studio when specified by the presenter.
Two calls will be selected at random to come to air. If the entrant’s call fails or we cannot hear the entrant, we reserve the right to select another entrant at random to come to air.
- We are not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network.
- Call will be charged at standard network rates. In all cases, please check with your service provider for more details and charges. If you are not the bill payer, you must obtain the bill payer’s permission before entering.
- Once the Phone Line has closed, a call will be recorded with a presenter, during which you may be required to answer a further question or questions or complete a further task(s). That call will either be broadcast live or pre-recorded for future broadcast.
- You must answer your telephone when we contact you. Someone else cannot answer the phone, participate or accept a prize on your behalf. If: (i) you fail to answer the phone; (ii) someone else answers the phone; (iii) the call goes to voicemail; (iv) the call becomes disconnected; (v) you are not (or do not seem to us to be) in a position to safely and/or lawfully take or remain on the call (for example, if you are or seem to be driving); or (vi) you are not audible or intelligible or we are not able to conduct a conversation with you in a manner that is suitable for broadcast for any reason beyond our control (including, but not limited to: low/no signal on your device, a call is dropped by any network, you are travelling, there is too much background noise or feedback, etc.); before or during the Promotion, you may be disqualified and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable. If you have complied with all applicable terms and conditions, and if you are successful (including correctly answering any questions and/or successfully completing any tasks, as applicable) then you will be declared the winner of the Promotion.
Eligibility:
Entry is restricted to people aged 16 or older. For any entrants under 18 werequireparent/guardian permission to play otherwise entry will be forfeited. We reserve the right to select another entrant at random to come to air.
Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.
Entrants must reside within one of the following postcode districts: EH, FK, G, KY, ML, PA
We reserve the right to request proof of awards for exams results during August 2024 only.
Data:
Your data will be deleted from our system 12 months after the competition end date.
Prize:
There will be two winners each winning a £250 Prezzee voucher.
Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Prize will be provided within 30 days, unless prize is date specific i.e. event tickets which may be provided closer to the date of the event.
Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, travel is not included within the prize.
