A Nottingham man's been jailed for 5 and a half years for robbing the tool shop he used to work at.
Ian Richardson from the Meadows threatened staff at Toolstation on Gateside Road with a knife back in April.
He'd gone there at closing time and stole £3,000 in total.
Despite efforts to conceal his identity, Richardson was successfully identified as a suspect and subsequently arrested on 8 April, 2014.
The 34 year-old denied the charge of robbery but was found guilty on Monday (December 22, 2014) following a trial at Nottingham Crown Court.
