Apogee

Apogee has a strong ethos of ‘giving something back’ and we are thrilled that they have chosen Help a Capital Child as their Charity of the Year in 2013 for the third year running.

As well as sponsoring Help a Capital Child’s flagship fundraising event, Capital Rocks in 2012, Apogee has undertaken some incredible fundraising challenges to raise over £85,000 for us, including a gruelling cycle from London to Paris.

This year Team Apogee also took on London's Great River Race for the third time as part of their multi-marathon challenge, but disaster struck just a mile into the race when their boat, the "Lisa & Sarah" took a hit to the rudder from another boat. Despite almost being pulled out of the race, the team persevered and crossed the finish line to a riverbank heaving with proud family, friends, colleagues and supporters.

Against all the odds, Apogee has tirelessly pushed themselves to their very limits to raise money for disadvantaged children living in the areas where Apogee operates, and we couldn't be more grateful for their ongoing support. Just ask Capital's very own Pandora!

2013 marks Apogee’s 20th year, so we would like to congratulate them on this milestone, and to thank them for all their support. To find out more about Apogee's fundraising activities and more, check out their blog.
