"I wrote this song from the perspective of me, her dad, and her little brother and how everybody would feel if one day she would not be here anymore"
Noah Cyrus has revealed the incredible - and heartwarming - story behind the first song she ever wrote for a friend who was struggling with her mental health.
Talking to PopBuzz during her Portrait Mode video, Noah remembers how her friend was feeling suicidal after having issues with her home and school life, and so Noah wrote her a song to remind her of how loved she was by those close to her.

"I wrote a song for a friend of mine who has actually been through a real hard time with her family life at home and school and her mental health", Noah said. "And I wrote it about her and how the world be without her, how sad we would all be without her, and how much of an impact she makes on everyone's life.
"She came to me and I said, 'you've got to talk to my mum' - she wasn't very close to her family - because she was suicidal. I didn't know what to do at the time because I was so young. But I said 'my mum is like your mum' and they talked it out and my mum helped her out.
"I wrote this song from the perspective of me, her dad, and her little brother and how everybody would feel if one day she would not be here anymore. She made a recording on her phone and she would play it when we drove round in the car. Now I listen to it and I'm like, how did you even listen to this song? It's insane but it's sweet. It comes from a good place.
