ALTON TOWERS SCAREFEST BREAKFAST COMPETITION

RULES

1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to Alton Towers Scarefest radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd October on Capital Birmingham.

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the Competition:

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must text 83958 (the “Telephone Line”).  Texts will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.

4. All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation will be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

5. We’ve sent Elise to experience Scarefest for herself and she was set 5 challenges (e.g. list as many One Direction songs as you can). Each day of contesting we’ll play out the audio of one of Elise’s Scarefest challenge and ask listeners to answer a multiple choice question relevant to that challenge. 

6. Listeners will text in to answer the multiple-choice question. One listener who texts in and answers the multiple-choice question correctly will be randomly selected and be bought to air and announced the winner. We’ll repeat this each day of the contesting week.

Eligibility:

7. Any one under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

8. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prize:

9. Daily Prize of a break at the Alton Towers Resort for 4 people.

10. Prize includes tickets to Scarefest, plus a one night overnight stay at the Alton Towers resort hotels for four people (value of £500 per comp). The tickets and overnight stay must be taken on the same date.

Splash Landings Hotel Spooktacular Stay
Prize covers one night’s accommodation for up to 4 guests in a standard room in Splash Landings Hotel. Prize also includes breakfast, one day theme park entry for up to 4 guests, entry to the 3 scare mazes (guests need to be aged 15 or over to enter the scare mazes), and Fastrack Gold tickets.
Entrance to Tree Top Quest, Waterpark, Extraordinary Golf and Spa are not included in the prize.
Limited number of competition prize rooms available on any one night and subject to availability.
Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
Valid until 30th October 2015.
For accommodation purposes only one guest must be aged 18+. Identification will be required upon check-in. Check-in can be made from 3pm onwards.
Prizes do not include travel to or from Alton Towers Resort, in-room movies and phone calls. All other expenses are the responsibility of the winner and guests.
Prizes are non-transferable, not for resale and there is no cash alternative.

Fastrack Gold tickets
Each Fastrack Gold ticket entitles the holder to one Fastrack ride on Nemesis, Oblivion, Air, Rita, TH13TEEN, Nemesis Sub-Terra, The Flume, Congo River Rapids, Runaway Mine Train, Charlie & The Chocolate FactoryTM: The Ride, Sonic Spinball, Enterprise, Battle Galleons, Marauder’s Mayhem, Ripsaw, Duel & Hex.
Fastrack tickets do not give a choice of seating and may still incur a wait time. Restrictions apply; please check at the ride/attraction entrance.

Theme Park tickets
The Alton Towers Resort reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of rides and/or attractions for technical, operational, health and safety or other reasons including over capacity. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions. Visitors under 12 years must be accompanied by a person 18 years of age or over at the Alton Towers Resort.

11. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
