Khloe Kardashian Praises Britney Spears After Joining The X Factor USA As Host - Audio

The US star talked to Capital about loving judge Britney and potentially joining the hit reality series.

Khloe Kardashian has praised Britney Spears as "hysterical" and "honest" on The X Factor USA, fresh from being announced as the show's newest co-host alongside Saved By The Bell star Mario Lopez.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star spoke exclusively to Capital FM this week ahead of the announcement today (17th October), and revealed she is a "huge" fan of the show and thinks Britney makes a great addition to the judging panel line-up for this year.

"Honestly I'm waiting on pins and needles and I need a confirmation!" Khloe said, prior to being announced as The X Factor USA's new co-host, while sister Kourtney added: "Well I see it online, so as a sister I'm going to take that as a yes!

"I love the show, I love Britney Spears," Khloe went on to say. "I think she's so funny and amazing.

"I am actually surprised at how honest she is on the show. I thought she would be more quiet and reserved, I think she's hysterical."

"I'm sure you've been hearing the rumours and I'm SO excited that I can finally confirm the news - I am joining The X factor as co-host with Mario Lopez!" Khloe has since posted on her official site. "I'm a huge fan of the show so I literally fell over in my chair when I heard that I was being considered for the role."

The reality TV star went on to say she was "thrilled" and "a little nervous" about taking on the new role.
