Will.i.am Wants "Willy Wonka" Style Factory Of Technology Enthusiasts In The Future

The 'This Is Love' rapper says he wants a company of 10,000 working on innovative products one day.

Will.i.am has revealed his dream to have a "Willy Wonka" style factory creating new gadgets and technology in the future.

The 'Scream & Shout' rapper, who is well known for his love of new technology, says he would love to have a "creative campus" of similar enthusiasts working alongside him.

"I want a Willy Wonka factory one day," will.i.am told the Daily Star this week. "Just a creative campus of creative individuals coming up with things.

"One day I'm going to have 10,000 people working in this business," the rapper explained, before teasing: "I am rethinking the Segway.  We will have a prototype working by August."

Will.i.am is currently serving as  Director of creative innovation for Intel in a role he has been in since 2011.

This week the rapper announced a new UK arena tour for December this year to promote his recent album '#willpower'.

Will.i.am will perform three dates across Manchester, Birmingham and London.
