You've been mishearing "What's My Age Again" this whole time and Mark Hoppus set the record straight on Twitter.
We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there's a chance you've been singing the wrong lyrics to blink-182's "What's My Age Again". Sure, there are plenty of people who have been pronouncing the band's name wrong this whole time, but a commonly misheard "What's My Age Again" lyric is about to make you rethink everything.
Mark Hoppus recently tweeted a lyric from the song in the form of a "due to personal reasons" meme and people quickly realised they'd been hearing and singing the lyric wrong their whole lives.

As it turns out, many people thought the lyric at the beginning of the song was actually "I walk alone to get the feeling right" or even "I walk along" and they've been singing it that way for years.
The revelation about the misheard lyric even inspired this perfect Green Day joke.
Later, Mark hit Blink fans with a big science fact about people who think it's "I walk alone to get the feeling right"
Science fact: if you thought the lyrics were “I WALK ALONE to get the feeling right,” you are a Fake Fan™️.

I wore cologne to get the feeling right
We started making out and she took off my pants
