Usher Returns To The Gym As He Trains For Hands Of Stone Movie

The 'Climax' star is preparing to film scenes for the upcoming boxing biopic where he will play Sugar Ray Leonard.

Usher has released a picture of himself back in the gym for the first time in 2013 as he returns to training for new boxing biopic Hands Of Stone.

Last year, the 'Scream' singer confirmed that he will be playing the role of Sugar Ray Leonard in the film, which also stars Robert De Niro.

The movie is based on the life and career of Roberto Duran and is scheduled for release later this year.

The R&B star can be seen working with a speed bag in the gym alongside his trainer and shows off his impressive physique in the image he posted to his Twitter account this week.

Meanwhile, Usher is also preparing to star in the new series of The Voice in the US after he and Shakira replaced Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera on the latest series of the show.

Maroon 5's Adam Levine recently revealed that the 'Pop Ya Collar' star and fellow coach Blake Shelton have already developed a "bromance" on the show.

Usher was forced to postpone his 2013 European tour dates to work on the show and is expected to announce the rearranged dates sometime this year.
