The 'Beautiful Life' four-piece say they look up to the 'Live While We're Young' boy band a lot.
Union J have revealed they look up to One Direction as some of their idols in the music industry right now, after the 'Best Song Ever' five-piece's huge success over the past two years.
The 'Carry You' four-piece, who have just announced their new single 'Beautiful Life', claim they wouldn't be in the position they are today if One Direction hadn't become so big around the world.
"Without them we wouldn't be here," Union J's Jaymi Hensley revealed to Daily Star this week. "They are who you look up to.
"We'd love to be at the BRITs and win an award and for One Direction to win one at the same time," fellow band member JJ Hamblett revealed. "That's our dream."

The UK four-piece also teased their upcoming debut album, which is expected to see release before the end of 2013.
"It's diverse and cool, it's fun," George Shelley promised. "Hopefully there'll be a song on there for everyone."
Union J return with their new single 'Beautiful Life' on 21st October.
