"Leave me alone I will dog walk you ." Cardi B and Tomi Lahren feuding on Twitter has to be the first weird beef of 2019.
The US government is in the midst of its longest shutdown in history and you know things are bad when even Cardi B is tired of the shenanigans. The rapper shared her thoughts on the shutdown last week, highlighting the dire pay situations of many government workers in an Instagram video. Cardi B and Tomi Lahren exchanged words on social media following the rapper's video and it's safe to say that not many people could have predicted the tense back and forth.
It all started when Cardi B explained the situation to her 40 million Instagram followers in a video.
"Trump is now ordering, as in summoning, federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid," Cardi says in the Instagram video.
"Now, I don't wanna hear ya'll motherf*ckers talking about 'oh, but Obama shut down the government for 17 days.' Yeah, bitch, for healthcare. So your grandma could check her blood pressure and you bitches could check ya p*ssy in the gynaecologist with no motherf*cking problem."
Cardi's astute political analysis went viral pretty quickly and even politicians thought several points were made.
Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren soon chimed in with her own opinions on Cardi's comments.
"Looks like @iamcardib is the latest genius political mind to endorse the Democrats. HA! Keep it up, guys! #MAGA2020," wrote the Fox host.
Cardi clapped back, saying, "leave me alone I will dog walk you ."

The exchange continued when Lahren clapped back by calling Cardi's commentary "political rambling". The rapper responded once more, telling Tomi that she was "blinded with racism" and a "sheep".
Obviously, Cardi B and Tomi Lahren don't usually operate in the same wheelhouse so people did not see this feud coming.
