The Wanted And One Direction Lead Praise For Andy Murray After Historic Grand Slam Win

The likes of Calvin Harris, Mollie King and Professor Green have also hailed the tennis star's victory.
The Wanted's Max George and One Direction star Niall Horan have led the praise for Scottish tennis star Andy Murray after his historic Grand Slam victory in New York City this morning (11th September).
The Team GB gold medalist won the US Open today after beating Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic, becoming the first British player since 1936 to win a Grand Slam singles title in the game.
"Andy Murray… Well done!!!" 'Chasing The Sun' singer Max tweeted earlier today, while One Direction star Niall posted: "I've never seen a game of tennis like this in my life! Unbelievable! Murray wrap it up dude…"
The Saturdays star Mollie King was also tweeting her excitement after the game, as was fellow Scotsman and DJ Calvin Harris.
"ANDY MURRAY YOU ABSOLUTE SCOTTISH HERO #SCOTTISH #TENNIS #LEGEND," Calvin posted, following Molllie's similar tweet: "Incredible news for @Andy_Murray!! Come on the Brits!! Very well done! xxxx."

Professor Green was heaped praise on the British tennis star, as did Lawson drummer Adam Pitts.
During the London 2012 Olympic Games Andy Murray beat Roger Federer to win the gold in the men's single tournament.
