The '22' singer is seen messing around and enjoying an ice cream with her pop star BFF.

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez cemented their BFF status this weekend when they enjoyed a day out together to help kickstart their summer.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer shared a brief Vine video of their day out in the sun yesterday (22nd June), as the pair shared ice cream cones on a pier in the good summer weather.

"It's summer, isn't it?" Taylor is seen cheekily asking 'Come And Get It' singer Selena, who quickly replies: "It's summer time!"

The pair, who are well known to have been close friends for some time now, were both eating an ice cream while dressed up in summer outfits and dark shades.

This past week saw Taylor taking a moment to pay tribute to music writer Chet Flippo on Twitter afar he died from pneumonia a number of days ago.

Taylor has also opened up about what the best moment of her career has been so far, naming getting to perform a duet with the Rolling Stones recently as her personal highlight.

Taylor Swift is currently taking her 'Red' tour across North America with Ed Sheeran as her support act.
