Taylor has finally revealed the second song from ‘1989’ which “best represents the album” – and is a VERY different sound for Swifty!
Taylor Swift dropped the next track from her new album ‘1989’ on iTunes – and it showcases a totally different sound for Ms Swift!
Described by Taylor as the track that “most represents the album”, she has said that ‘Out Of The Woods’ won’t be the next single to be released from the record.
With lyrics like “Looking at it now, last December, we were built to fall apart, then fall back together. Your necklace hanging from my neck, the night we couldn’t quite forget”, fans were quickly speculating that the song may be about her brief romance with One Direction’s Harry Styles…
Taylor told Good Morning America about the song, “The song is about fragility and kind of breakable nature of some relationships. This was a relationship where I was kind of living day to day, wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day.”
"It was a relationship where you kind of never feel like you're standing on solid ground. That kind of feeling brings on excitement but also extreme anxiety and kind of a frantic feeling of wondering."
Taylor also added that ‘Out Of The Woods’ was “one of my favorite songs on this album.”
‘1989’ will be released on 27th October.
