The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' star allegedly keeps a box of items related to her past loves.
Taylor Swift is reportedly using a "memory box" of mementos from her past relationships to write her break-up song about One Direction star Harry Styles.
The young couple are believed to have broken things off at the start of 2013 after a holiday out in the Caribbean, and 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer Taylor headed straight to the recording studio after the split.
"Taylor's been working on a song about her split from Harry since they broke up," a source revealed to The Sun this week. "Her main source of material for the songs she's written about her string of other famous ex-boyfriends comes from rooting around in a trunk where she hoards keepsakes of their relationships.
"Photos of Harry are now in there, along with a chain he had made for her when they got together last year which matches his own favourite necklace, of a paper plane," the source claims. "Trinkets like that should provide some easy material for her to build a song out of."

Harry and Taylor were widely rumoured to have reconciled last week ahead of their scheduled appearances at the NRJ Awards in France over the weekend, however reports since the event suggest Taylor avoided the boy band star.
Taylor Swift is now also preparing to head out on the road when she kicks off her 'Red' world tour across North America in early March.
