Taylor Swift Had Romantic Holiday Planned For Harry Styles' Birthday Before Split

The 'Little Things' star is said to be "gutted" after finding out Taylor had a big event planned for his big day.

Taylor Swift had reportedly been planning to take boy band star Harry Styles on a surprise romantic break for his birthday next month before the romance came to an abrupt end two weeks ago.

The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer allegedly booked a five night stay at the prestigious Palazzina Grassi hotel in Venice, Italy on the Grand Canal to celebrate the One Direction star's 19th birthday in February.

'Little Things' star Harry is believed to have found out about the cancelled trip last week and is now feeling "gutted" after realising how much trouble the US star had gone to for his birthday celebrations.

"Taylor organised an all expenses paid trip before the split," a source told The Sun this week. "She even arranged a private gondola for them for the entire time they would be there.

"Harry is pretty gutted about the whole thing, even though he's putting on a cool front," they added. "He's touched she went to so much trouble to arrange his birthday ahead of time."

The report also claims 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer Taylor had planned to shower the One Direction star with gifts for his big day (1st February) ranging from Savile Row designer clothes to Beatles memorabilia.

Harry and Taylor are believed to have ended their short romance during a trip to the Caribbean for New Year, after Taylor flew out of the British Virgin Isles following what was reported to have been a heated argument between the pair.

Taylor Swift made her return to the red carpet at the Golden Globes 2013 this past weekend (13th January), where she was nominated in the category for Best Original Song opposite eventual winner Adele.
