The 'Love Story' singer says she would never disclose who any of her songs were written about.
Taylor Swift has joked that it was "presumptuous" of John Mayer to think her song 'Dear John' was written about their break-up, and vows never to reveal who her songs are penned about.
The 'We Are Never Getting Back Together' singer reportedly dated the 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' star back in 2009, and her 2010 album track 'Dear John' is widely believed to be about their split, but Taylor says she would never confirm or deny the rumours.
"How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about," Taylor told Glamour magazine this week, when asked whether the song is about John Mayer.
"I know it wasn't good so I don't want to know," Taylor explained, when asked whether she knew about his reaction to the track. " put a high priority on staying happy, and I know what I can't handle."
"If you go too far down the rabbit hole of what people think about you it can change everything about who you are," she added.
