John Mayer Admits He Was A "Jerk" To Ex-Girlfriends Taylor Swift And Jennifer Aniston

The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer dated the musician back in 2009.
John Mayer has seemingly issued an apology to a series of former girlfriends including Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston.
The musician – who is currently dating Katy Perry – enjoyed a short romance with the country singer during late 2009 and even penned the song 'Half Of My Heart' together.
Speaking in an interview with CBS show Sunday Morning, he declared: "I was just a jerk", when he spoke about his dating history with the high-profile female celebrities.
Taylor famously wrote the song 'Dear John' – thought to be based on the pair's romance.
John previously accused the 'Begin Again' actress of "cheap songwriting" when asked his opinions on the track.
The US male star went on to explain how he feels he's mellowed since undergoing surgery on his vocal chords last year.
"It's very liberating when you finally realize it's impossible to make everyone like you," he confessed. "I wanted everybody to like me. I thought I was one shuck and jive away in every direction."
Despite going public with his romance to Katy Perry, it is believed the pair will not attend the Grammy Awards 2013 together this weekend.
Taylor Swift has also gone on to date such stars as Jake Gyllenhaal and One Direction's Harry Styles.
