The 'Begin Again' singer will help bring the 55th edition of the industry event to a start this weekend.
Taylor Swift has been announced as the opening act of the Grammy Awards 2013.
The country star is expected to perform her smash hit 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' at the Staples Center this weekend.
"Oh my god, it's Grammy week, it's so hectic," she told Ryan Seacrest in preparation of the show. "I have a lot to plan for with the opening performance and I'm just really hoping all the pieces come together this week.
"Because this is when it really gets really crazy, but it's all very exciting too."
The 22 year-old has enjoyed great success at the Grammys over the years – picking up six awards.
She's also looking to add to that haul this weekend with three nominations.
Speaking about her performance, she said it only felt right to perform a song which was nominated on the night.
"I think you should perform the song that's nominated," she continued. "Like, if you got a song nominated for Record of the Year, you might as well perform that. It's a big hint."
Other performers on the night include close friend Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna.
The Grammys 2013 take place live on Sunday night (10th February) live from the Staples Center in Los Angles.
