The country star's latest release 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' goes straight in at the top spot on the chart.
Taylor Swift has scored her first ever Billboard Hot 100 number one with her new single 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.
The 'Love Story' star achieved the feat with digital sales of 623,000 in the first week making it the highest sales in a debut week for a female artist.
Flo Rida is the only artist with a greater record after he shifted 636,000 copies of his hit 'Right Round' back in February 2009.
The track is the first to be lifted from Taylor's forthcoming new album 'Red' which also features a collaboration with 'Lego House' star Ed Sheeran.
She had previously hit the number two spot with 2009's 'You Belong With Me' and 2010's 'Today Was A Fairytale'.
