The lucky fans who got invited to Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ album listening sessions in London were chosen by the lady herself – after she stalked their online profiles!
Die-hard Taylor Swift fans in London were in luck last weekend, as the singer invited a selected handful to one of her #1989SecretSessions – after she stalked their profiles on social media!
On Saturday, the lucky few were invited to the listening session, after which Taylor tweeted, “The London #1989SecretSessions were as outrageous and hilarious and sweet as I dreamed they'd be. #fundon."
While getting to hang out with Taylor and listen to her new album is pretty awesome alone, her fans in America got to do the same at her ACTUAL house!
Taylor spoke about her how she chose the fans for her listening sessions on the Graham Norton Show, saying, “I found them on the Internet. I would go online and I would look at their Instagram pages, or their Twitter or their Tumblr or whatever and I just kind of watched them for months and months."
Taylor added that she wanted to give fans who had never met her a chance to hang out with her and hear the new album first, and that she loves how dramatic her fans get.
Taylor also confirmed on Twitter that she will be dropping another track from ‘1989’ but that ‘Out Of The Woods’ would not be the next single.
She tweeted, “To clarify, what is coming in the next few days is a new song that I think best represents #1989. It is NOT my next single. #ShakeItOff”
