Kim Kardashian Is Over Party trends after Taylor Swift says she was "framed"
24 March 2020, 12:35
Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to address the leaked viral video that saw a phone call between Kanye West and Taylor Swift, and Swifties aren't happy with her response. The result? They've even managed to get #KimKardashianIsOverParty trending...
Kim Kardashian has used her new-found free time in quarantine to reignite beef with Taylor Swift on Twitter.
If you've been scrolling over the past few days, you'll remember that a leaked video surfaced of a phone call between her husband rapper Kanye West, and the pop singer, addressing accusations that he didn't ask permission to use lyrics about her in his 2016 song 'Famous'.

While Taylor responded by secretly liking Tumblr posts from her fans that "knew she was telling the truth all along", Kim has decided to take a little more of a public approach, and slam Taylor on the TL.
Brace yourselves.
.@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange - that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now.

I didn’t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.

To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that “Kanye never called to ask for permission...” They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word “bitch” was used without her permission.

At the time when they spoke the song had not been fully written yet, but as everyone can see in the video, she manipulated the truth of their actual conversation in her statement when her team said she

I never edited the footage (another lie) - I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.

To add, Kanye as an artist has every right to document his musical journey and process, just like she recently did through her documentary.

Kanye has documented the making of all of his albums for his personal archive, however has never released any of it for public consumption & the call between the two of them would have remained private or would have gone in the trash had she not lied & forced me to defend him.

This will be the last time I speak on this because honestly, nobody cares.

Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with more serious and important matters.
In the long thread of tweets, Kim brands the 30-year-old a "liar" who "manipulated the truth" of her "actual conversation" with the controversial rapper, and accused her publicist Tree Paine on being in on the plot.
After going on a rambling in which the replies were plastered with Taylor Swift fans not having any of it, she ended with "This will be that last time I speak on this because honestly, nobody cares.
"Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with more serious and important matters."
And while she may have a point on that last statement, unfortunately for Kim, we're all stuck in the house right now, and very quickly, she felt the wrath of over 50,000 Swifties, who got #KimKardashianIsOverParty to the number one trending spot, where it has so far stayed for almost 10 hours.
The tweets in question were sleuthing gold, where fans were dissecting how the rest of A-List royalty were quickly realising that the couple weren't telling the full story, and that they had four years to apologise to Taylor but didn't...
remember when beyoncé & jay z didn’t go to kim & kanye’s wedding but went to taylor swift’s 25th birthday party? they fucking knew #KimKardashianIsOverParty pic.twitter.com/unR6UnkVJC

You posted “a few clips” of a 25 minute phone call to fit your narrative and purposely left out the other 22 minutes because it shows Taylor was telling the truth all along.

Kim's tweets were in part a reaction to Taylor's Instagram Story. In the story, Taylor encouraged people to donate to the World Health Organisation instead of focusing on the drama that she was "framed" in (we love a charitable queen).
The text-based story read: "Instead of answering those who have asked how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me, and put me, my family and fans through hell for four years) swipe up to see what really matters.
"The World Health Organisation and Feeding America are some of the charities I've been donating to. If you have the ability, please join me in donating during this crisis."
Her publicist and close friend Tree Paine took to Twitter to post her original statement to prove Kim wrong, with the caption: "I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing. P.S. who did you guys piss off to leak that video?" SHADE.
While Kim says she's not interested in talking about it anymore, we can already feel this isn't the last we're going to hear of this...
