Navy assemble. The wait is over! Rihanna is officially back and she's returning to music by headlining the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.
Ever since Rihanna ended the ANTI era in 2016, fans have been desperate for the pop icon to make a comeback. However, apart from four collaborations, Rihanna has spent the past seven years away from music and building her ever-expanding business empire. From Fenty Beauty to Savage x Fenty, Rihanna has prioritised being a mogul over being a musician.
Yesterday (Sep 25), the Avon lady took to Instagram to announce that she will be the star of the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show with a simple image of her holding an American football. The post has since been liked over five million times with people losing it over the prospect of Rihanna performing again, and the possibility of, dare we say it, a new album?
