Halsey, Sarah Urie and Gigi Hadid have also slammed Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta for their treatment of Taylor Swift.
Last night (Nov 15), Taylor Swift revealed that Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta won't let her perform her old songs on TV.
This June, Scooter Braun purchased all of Taylor Swift's masters (the songs she wrote before Lover) and now he's refusing to allow her to perform them at the AMAs or on TV in general. Scooter is a music manager best known for representing Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato,

In a lengthy post on Twitter, Taylor explained that she wanted to perform a medley of her hits at the AMAs but Scooter and Scott won't sign off on it unless she agrees not to rerecord her masters and to stop talking about them. Following Taylor's post, millions of people have rushed to support her.
Now, Selena Gomez, Halsey and many other celebrities have called out Scooter and Scott for their actions.

Taking to her Instagram stories today (Nov 16), Selena wrote: "My heart is so heavy right now. It makes me sick and extremely angry. It's greed, manipulation and power. There is no heart or thought of anyone else's. No respect for the words my friend has written since she was a 14-year-old in her bedroom." Selena then added: "You've robbed and crushed one of the best songwriters of our time and opportunity to celebrated all of her music with fans and the world."
Selena continued: "I have known Taylor for 13 years. She is the most dedicated, fearless, feisty, strongest woman I've ever known. People can say bitch but what I'm saying to you is that's called a woman with true identity and strength." She also wrote: "Seeing my best friend be constantly pulled down is the worst feeling. Taylor fights. She will never stop fighting. People grow from choices. Some will stay exactly the same. I just want a change of heart."
Halsey also used Instagram stories to criticise Scooter and Scott, writing: "This is just mean. This is punishment. This is hoping to silence her from speaking about things by dangling this over her head. These people are protected because they conspire complicity with fear. Banking on the illusion that people will not stand up for her. That the world will say she is overreacting. You're barking up the wrong tree."
Halsey also filmed herself singing along to Taylor Swift's 'Mean' on Instagram stories, which many fans interpreted as a dig at Scooter and Scott.
Brendon Urie also previously slammed Scooter Braun in a Twitch livestream when he originally purchased Taylor's masters. He said: "This Scooter Braun shit. Like, what a piece of shit, right? It just like broke my heart. I read Taylor's statement and I was like, 'that sounds about right, you know'. Toxic dudes doing toxic bullshit in this toxic industry."
Brendon's wife Sarah Urie took to Instagram stories today to write: "Taylor Swift you're the best and deserve the right to play your own music whenever and wherever the hell you want. We love you."
As well as Selena, Halsey and Sarah, celebrities including Gigi Hadid, Tinashe and Conan Gray have all come forward in support of Taylor. Gigi tweeted: "Scott and Scooter, you know what the right thing to do is. Taylor and her fans deserve to celebrate the music!!" Tinashe also wrote: "Fuck that. We’re with you" and Conan added "IMMA FUCK SOME SHIT UP".
