Selena Gomez Reveals She'll "Always Care And Protect" Justin Bieber – Video

The 'Come And Get It' singer speaks about maintaining a friendship with her ex on Good Morning America.

Selena Gomez has revealed that it's been easy to keep friends with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and that she will always "care and protect" the teen.
The former couple spent close to two years together before breaking up at the end of last year.

Asked on a recent edition of Good Morning America about how she manages to stay close to the Canadian star, she said: "That's because he and have had such a history together.

She added: "I'll always care about him and protect him if anyone tries to be mean."

Justin was also recently protected by his grandmother's words – who hit out at the paparazzi for constantly picking on him.

Selena and Justin had rumoured to be on the verge of getting back together – something which the female star told Ryan Seacrest is not true and she remains single.

The star also recently released her new album 'Stars Dance' which is said to feature a voicemail recording of Justin's voice on one of the tracks.
